Obiettivi della detartrasi profonda definitiva

Dato che la risposta alla detartrasi profonda può ricadere nell'ambito di una serie di risposte, bisogna decidere quale ruolo debba avere questo tipo di trattamento nell'ambito della terapia di una determinata patologia parodontale. I principi basati sull'esperienza clinica sono d'aiuto per prendere una tale decisione. Quest'esperienza clinica presuppone abilità tecniche molto evolute ed un’ampia utilizzazione della tecnica stessa.
